What is included in the price?

Every camp day includes full supervision, all activities, a lift pass, rental equipment, and a nutritious lunch plus plenty of snacks. Optional add-on courses such as Via Ferrata, paragliding, fly fishing and white-water rafting are available for an extra fee.

What are the camp hours, and are half days available?

Full days run from 9am to 4pm in Zermatt. Half-day options are available, and the schedule is flexible to suit your family plans.

What happens if the weather is bad?

Camps run rain or shine. In poor weather we switch to indoor and all-weather activities such as Alpine pottery, Swiss chocolate making, escape rooms and indoor sports, so there is always plenty of fun.

Are the camp leaders qualified and is my child safe?

Yes. Every camp leader is first-aid trained, reference-checked and police-checked, with a maximum ratio of 4-6 children per leader for close, attentive supervision.

Where are the camps based and where do we meet?

Our camps are based in Zermatt, with drop-off at 9am and pick-up at 4pm in Church Square, in the heart of the village. We confirm the full details for the week when you book.

What summer camps are there in Zermatt?

Connect Summer Camps is the main children’s day camp in Zermatt, running weekly from 6 July to 28 August 2026 for ages 3 to 17. Most summer camps in Switzerland are residential and based in other resorts, so for families holidaying in Zermatt, Connect is the go-to day camp: children join the activities each day and return to their family every evening.

What is the difference between a day camp and a residential camp?

At a residential camp, children stay overnight for the whole session. At a day camp like Connect, children join each day, with drop-off at 9am and pick-up at 4pm in Church Square, and go home to their family every evening. Day camps suit families holidaying together in Zermatt: children make friends and stay active during the day while evenings stay free for family time, and costs are typically lower than residential camps.

Are there day camps in Zermatt for 3-year-olds and young children?

Yes. Our youngest group, the Discoverers, is for ages 3 to 5, with a gentle, play-based programme and a high ratio of one leader to every four children. Young children can attend full days (9am to 4pm) or half-days, and all leaders are first-aid trained, reference-checked and police-checked.
