Bespoke trips for schools and groups

Tailored school ski trips in Zermatt

Connect Summer Camps designs bespoke ski trips for schools, colleges and youth groups in Zermatt. It is one of the world’s most spectacular and snow-sure alpine resorts, and whether your pupils are clipping into skis for the very first time or chasing black runs and the terrain park, every itinerary is built around your group’s ages, ability and learning objectives.

Professional ski instruction

Tuition is delivered in small, ability-based groups by fully qualified BASI Level 3 and 4 instructors, with a maximum of six students per instructor (four for under-fives). Beginners gain confidence on the gentle nursery slopes while stronger skiers develop parallel turns, carving, moguls and freestyle. Helmets are compulsory and every child’s progress is tracked across the week.

Everything organised for you

We take care of the logistics that make a school trip run smoothly: accommodation, meals, lift passes, equipment hire, evening activities and a full programme from arrival to departure. Teachers can focus on their students while our Zermatt-based team manages everything on the ground.

Safety first, always

All instructors and camp staff are first-aid trained, reference-checked and police-checked. Group ratios are kept deliberately low, helmets are worn on the mountain at all times, and our village base means resort and medical support is never far away. Comprehensive risk assessments are provided for every trip.

Why Zermatt

Car-free, family-friendly and framed by the iconic Matterhorn, Zermatt offers more than 360 kilometres of pistes, reliable snow from the glacier, and a safe, traffic-free village that is ideal for school groups. It is the same mountain playground our summer campers love, in its winter coat.
